Ryan Timms tackles Tulsa Shootout in Galusha Racing No. 12T

Ryan Timms kicked off his 2025 season on New Year’s Eve aboard the Frank Galusha-owned No. 12T Micro for the 40th annual Smiley’s Racing Product Tulsa Shootout powered by NOS Energy Drink.

Competing alongside more than 1,000 drivers across six divisions at the Tulsa Expo Center, Timms made an impressive start to Tuesday's preliminary action, charging sixth-to-second in his Wing Outlaw heat race.

On Wednesday, Ryan crossed the line first in his Non-Wing Outlaw heat but was later penalized after weighing in light at the scales.

After electing to park the Non-Wing Outlaw for the remainder of the week, Timms posted a fifth-place finish in his qualifier on Friday, relegating him to consolation races on Saturday.

The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma youngster made it through his B-Feature with a strong runner-up finish, but his quest for a Golden Driller came to an end with a ninth-place finish in his LCQ.
