Timms competes in Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series opener at Millbridge
On Tuesday afternoon, Ryan Timms invaded Millbridge Speedway (Salisbury, N.C.) to pilot the No. 71K Midget for the inaugural event with the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series. In a stout field of 35 cars, Timms followed up the third-fastest time in his qualifying group with a seventh-place finish in his heat. Racing forward four spots in his B-Main to place second, Ryan earned the 17th-starting position for the feature. With $4,000 on the line, Ryan Timms passed three cars in the 40-lapper to finish 14th. For the second round on Wednesday, Ryan started the night off with a heat race victory but faded back to 17th when the checkered flag flew in the 25-lapper.
