Ryan Timms races to fourth-place finish at Tri-City Raceway Park

After losing a pair of events to Mother Nature, Ryan Timms got an early start to his weekend on Friday afternoon at Lernerville Speedway (Lernerville, Pa.) aboard his Mystik Lubricants No. 5T Sprint Car.

With a heat race victory placing him on the third row for the feature, Timms faded two spots in the 30-lap affair to finish eighth.

In a field of 33 410 Sprints on Saturday at Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio), Ryan edged his way into the feature with a fourth-place finish in his heat but was involved in a wreck after improving six spots early.

For the weekend finale on Sunday at Tri-City Raceway Park (Franklin, Pa.), Timms charged from the eighth-starting position in the main event to finish fourth. He followed A.J. Flick, Ryan Smith, and Jack Sodeman Jr. to the checkers with Cody Bova coming in fifth.
