Top-10 finish in 360 Sprinter at Knoxville Raceway
Ryan Timms returned to the driver’s seat of his Western Flyer Express No. 5T Sprint Car on Friday night at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) to compete with the All Star Circuit of Champions.
Competing in a field of 33 Sprinters, Timms secured his spot into the dash with an eight-lap heat race victory. With a seventh-place finish in the dash placing him on the fourth row for the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Ryan salvaged 22nd after losing ground on the fifth circuit.
In the 410 and 360 Sprint ranks on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa), Ryan started the night off with a heat win in both divisions. Following a 12th-place run in the 410 A-Main, Timms passed seven cars in the 18-lap 360 feature to register a seventh-place finish.
