Ryan Timms tabs two runner-up finishes at I-55 Raceway

Ryan Timms returned with the Xtreme Outlaw Series over the weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) for the Midget portion of the Ironman 55.

After steering to a steady second-place finish on Friday night in the opener, Timms added the same result in Saturday's program.

Following a fourth-to-second heat showing on Saturday afternoon, Ryan started the $7,500-to-win finale in second and finished in second. He joined race-winner Karter Sarff on the podium with Cannon McIntosh finishing third.

On the heels of a pair of runner-up finishes, Timms has closed the margin for the lead in the latest Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series point standings to 133.
