Ryan Timms drives to 10th in WoO Jackson Nationals
Ryan Timms returned to the driver’s seat of his driveWFX.com No. 5T Sprint Car as the World of Outlaws (WoO) NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series drew 34 competitors to Jackson (MN) Motorplex for the 46th annual FENDT Jackson Nationals.
After a slow start in his time trial session, Timms edged into Friday’s opener with the fifth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. With a $12,000 payday up for grabs in the preliminary feature, Ryan improved six positions to finish 14th.
On Saturday, Ryan raced into the $25,000-to-win Jackson Nationals finale with a fifth-place heat finish. Rolling off on the ninth row, Timms advanced forward eight positions to cap off the weekend with a solid 10th-place finish.
