Timms earns Huset's Hard Charger with 16th-to-2nd run

Ryan Timms returned to competition on Sunday evening with a single appearance at Huset’s Speedway, where the South Dakota oval hosted its weekly Mother’s Day event.

Earning a transfer spot with a fourth-place effort in his heat race, Timms turned in an impressive performance in the 25-lap feature. Advancing 14 positions over the course of the main event, the Oklahoma native charged to a runner-up finish behind race-winner Kaleb Johnson. Scott Winters completed the podium in third.
