Timms finishes sixth with World of Outlaws at Knoxville Raceway

Ryan Timms kicked off a busy race week on Tuesday afternoon with a trip to Eagle Raceway for the Kubota High Limit Racing-sanctioned Eagle Nationals.

After transferring into the $55,555-to-win A-Main through the B-Main, Timms charged forward eight positions in the 40-lap feature to finish 15th.

Shifting focus to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, Timms joined the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series at Knoxville Raceway for the two-day Premier Chevy Dealers Clash on Friday and Saturday.

He opened the weekend with a 14th-place finish on Friday, then found more speed the following night. After capturing a heat race victory and finishing third in the dash, Timms capped Saturday’s program with a solid sixth-place result in the 25-lap feature.

The Oklahoma native wrapped up his weekend on Sunday with an impressive 11th-to-4th charge at Huset’s Speedway, crossing the line behind Chase Randall, Jack Dover, and Kaleb Johnson, with Tim Kaeding rounding out the top five.
